Listo para volar

The close-up of the hummingbird is amazing and it almost looks too colourful for nature to have created it. What other people might see as a flaw I consider a markable detail constituted by the relief on the surface of the shown fingers. The foldings, scratches in and the dirt on the skin combined with the posture of the hummingbird and the disposition of the fingers, indeed makes it look like the littler “chirper” is going to lift off any minute out of a nest of branches. It’s a great momentum.
