Hm, the colours in this photograph go very well together (as expected) since the main focus is somewhat on the complementary colours blue and yellow whereas the green of the fern leaves creates a subtle transition to my mind. I think a strong red would have added even more to the dream-like effect. I can emphasize again how astonishingly interesting the pattern of the kimono looks like - it almost deserves an own photograph but then again it just underlines Abrils natural desirability. The five-part arrangement (Kimono, two times background - left and right, Abril's head and the flower combined with the fern leaf) creates a pleasant and positive atmosphere as well.

The close-up of the hummingbird is amazing and it almost looks too colourful for nature to have created it. What other people might see as a flaw I consider a markable detail constituted by the relief on the surface of the shown fingers. The foldings, scratches in and the dirt on the skin combined with the posture of the hummingbird and the disposition of the fingers, indeed makes it look like the littler "chirper" is going to lift off any minute out of a nest of branches. It's a great momentum.

Esta está una foto magnífica!

The combination of the turquoise kimono, the light pink lip stick colour, the sharply framed eyes and Abril's dark hair just saturates your eyes. The blurred background most definitely adds to this effect but the lighting itself already creates a feeling of mesmerization. I appreciate the aptitude.

Sincerely

Gracias Andrea! Espero poder participar más de las excursiones este año. Uno se siente en su salsa con tantos colegas :)
Publicaste tu foto en algún sitio? Yo todavía tengo un montón para procesar de esa excursión y de otras salidas del año pasado...
